Villa
San Pietro is a recently restored 17th century villa with massive
oak beams, ancient brick floors, and beautiful antique furnishings.
The Villa is owned and operated by a young French-Italian couple,
Anna and Jacques Ducroz. Upon your arrival we invite you to relax
under an ancient fresco or enjoy a welcome drink in the secluded garden.

Bed and breakfast is a recently
restored Villa retaining all of its original character. It is
in a particularly calm location in the centre
of Montichiari, 13 km from Desenzano on Lake Garda.
Anna and
Jacques welcome their guests into very large and comfortable rooms:
the
Salmon Room, the Pink Room, the Blue Room, and the Loft with private
bathroom, antiques, air
conditioning for the summer and central heating for the winter months
with independent entrance.
At the guests’ disposal
there is a frescoed ceiling living room with a satellite TV, a
common area with a
fridge, private parking, a secluded garden with deck chairs and tables,
a marbled-columned loggia where
you can read a nice book in the summer nights.
In February
2005 some restoration works started in a second frescoed ceiling
living room. A few
original frescoes from 1500 A.D. have been discovered and the restoration
work will continue for a few
months.
Anna and
Jacques speak Italian, English, French, and Spanish fluently and
will be glad
to chat with
you and let you know about local traditions and culture. They will
also advise you on daily trips to:
Verona, Lake Garda, Mantova, Sabbioneta, Cremona, Venise, the Botanical
Garden Sigurtà, etc.
Breakfast
is served in the frescoed ceiling room or in the garden. Most
of all,
at Villa San
Pietro you will find a family environment, a relaxing atmosphere.
Anna and Jacques will do their best to make your stay unforgettable
and let you feel at home away from
your home……

Jacques
is French and since last September 2004, he is also Italian, he
was
previously an Officer in the French Army where he served for 9 years.
Anna is
Italian, too. She used to be a Professional Translator and Interpreter
in English, French and Spanish until she started with
her husband this fabulous
and fun activity: running a B&B and opening their home to the
entire world!
After living in France
for 3 years, they settled in Montichiari and started the B&B
Villa San
Pietro in 1997.
Alex is
9 years old, he is Italian and French from birth, he is bilingual
and is not doing bad
with English.... and he loves playing with his young guests who are
most welcome at the villa.
Your last hosts: a bunch of dwarf rabbits which are so cute...you
will love them!!!!
